Let’s Give a BIG GiGi’s Twin Cities Welcome to Both our New Operations Manager and Programming Manager!

On behalf of our community, we would like to introduce you to John Ward (Operations Manager) and Katherine Rebstock (Programming Manager). We are thrilled to have them both come on board in August as we prepare for our Fall 2021 Programming and schedule.

Meet John Ward (jward@gigisplayhouse.org)

Hello! I am so glad to be working at GiGi’s Playhouse-Twin Cities. I was born and raised in Saint Paul. I graduated from Cretin Derham-Hall for high school and then Metro State University for college.   Prior to this I have worked for the teacher’s union here in MN and before that a small environmental non-profit. I am passionate about social justice, anti-racism, and working hard to end the stigma around mental health. I live in Saint Paul with my wife Jenny and our two cats (although I am much more of a dog person). In my spare time I enjoy camping, hiking, trivia nights, board games, and playing kickball. I am looking forward to diving into my new role and meeting/working with many of you!

Meet Katherine Rebstock (krebstock@gigisplayhouse.org)

I am so excited and enthusiastic about joining GiGi’s as your new programs manager! I come to GiGi’s with over 12 years of sales, marketing, and project management experience. I also have a passion for working with children, having worked most recently as a float reserve teacher in the Minnetonka school system with so many wonderful students and staff members. One of the highlights from my experience in the school system was working with children with special needs. This is also personal as I am the aunt to a teenager with Down syndrome.

I am so excited to meet the GiGi’s community in my new role, see the smiling faces in the playhouse and help to expand GiGi’s Twin Cities in person and virtual programming!

Cheers,

Tim Hawley (thawley@gigisplayhouse.org)
