Introducing GiGi’s Playhouse GiGiFIT Program!

The GigiFIT Program is a targeted approach to health and wellness developed by physical therapists specifically for people with Down syndrome of all ages!

The program focuses on improving areas of fitness including strength, endurance, joint stability, balance, movement control and more.  It’s structured to allow participants to develop goals based on their individual fitness level.

GiGiFIT also promotes wellness through nutrition, pushing through barriers and building self confidence!

Participants in GiGiFIT are motivated by their peers as they strive for their own personal best.  We launched our very first GiGiFIT Teen/Adult Pilot Program in November 2020!

Another favorite part of the program are the take-home materials with visual step-by-step guides to all of the exercises as well as a nutrition journal.  At the end of the program participants have a structured plan that they can continue to do at home!
