Thank You for Celebrating Acceptance

Our third annual Dash for Down Syndrome was another incredible display of acceptance!

On April 27th, we welcomed over 400 people to Winnequah Park in Monona on a gorgeous Spring day! This was the first year it was warm and the sun came out!

We started the day with the 5k fun run and 1 mile walk and then gathered in the park to dance, play games, visit with Bucky Badger and Disney Princesses, meet community partners at their display tables, and cheer on the kids during the very popular kids dash!

We are thankful! Madison Events and Intentional Purpose Consulting and our team of staff and volunteers gave their all in helping us create an amazing day. Our list of sponsors is a shining example of local organizations and businesses that believe in living Generation G and ensure we are successfully celebrating and supporting the Down syndrome community.

Thanks to all the runners, walkers and sponsors, we had 30 teams raise almost $60,000! All these funds will go stay here in Madison and go towards running our programming.

Congratulations to the 2024 award winners!

SAVE THE DATE for the 4th annual Dash for Down Syndrome on April 26th, 2025.

SEE YOU THERE!
