Thank you to our VIP Gift Sponsors!
Thank you to SUPERTUESDAY for the incredible post gala entertainment they provided!
With early beginnings in the mid-90s as a four-piece original alt-rock band, performing around Madison and fine-tuning their music, this band evolved into SuperTuesday in 1998. They have appeared in commercials, played in stadiums and coliseums, and have opened for national artists, including: Old Dominion, Thompson Square, Gloriana, Phil Vasser, Jessica Andrews, Sawyer Brown, Emerson Drive, Kip Winger, the BoDeans, and Tommy Tutone (867-5309)! Today, SuperTuesday’s style is a drink-raising, dance-a-billy, funfest mix of rhythms the likes of Bon Jovi, Journey, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Bryan Adams, Pat Benatar, Pitbull, Poison, Guns N Roses, and Bruno Mars.
A conscious decision to be better every day.
Be accepting. Be generous. Be kind.
In the last 17 years, GiGi’s Playhouse has made significant progress and impact in supporting individuals with Down syndrome, but we have only scratched the surface. Still, new parents are not receiving the positive encouragement they need from medical professionals upon receiving a diagnosis. Students with Down syndrome still experience unfounded discrimination at school and on social media. Qualified adults with Down syndrome may not be able to access meaningful jobs. Dedicated GiGi’s locations, FREE purposeful programs, and positive support alone do not guarantee long-term success.
There is still so much more to do!
Without more action to create lasting acceptance, opportunities for present and future generations will falter. Our kids and adults never get to take a break from their diagnosis. Therefore, we will not stop fighting for them.
Generation G challenges the status quo by stepping outside of comfort zones.
Give an individual with a disability an employment opportunity.
Smile & say hi to someone new. Volunteer.

Draw it! Post it! Live it!

One in every 700 babies is born with Down syndrome, making it a leading cause of developmental delay. Individuals with Down syndrome experience challenges with the development of speech and language and motor skills. GiGi’s Playhouse offers lifetime support from prenatal diagnosis to adulthood. Because of the generosity of both supporters and a large team of volunteers, all GiGi’s programs are provided free of charge to participants. GiGi’s purposeful, individual, and group programs use a holistic approach, targeting all areas of development.
This year, we pivoted to GiGi’s At Home, providing both locally and nationally, over 28+ live programs online, as well a multitude of on-demand videos and downloadable materials. Explore our program offerings here and make sure to view the Virtual Tour of GiGi’s Playhouse Madison
