Generation G: A Call to Action for a Kinder, More Inclusive World

An inclusive world is possible with your help!

Generation G makes for an inclusive world for people with Down syndrome.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Madison, inclusion is not just a word—it’s the foundation of everything we do. We believe in a world where kindness, acceptance, and true inclusion are the norm, not the exception. This is the heart of Generation G: a movement that challenges each of us to take action, to break barriers, and to create a society where every individual is seen for their value, not their diagnosis.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to advocating for the best interests of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. But we cannot do this alone. True change happens when we come together as a community—when families, schools, businesses, and individuals of all ages unite in a collective effort to uplift every voice and ability. Inclusion is a shared responsibility, and it takes all of us to make it a reality.

A Safe and Joyful Space for All

GiGi’s Playhouse Madison is more than a resource center—it’s a home, a joyful space where everyone is accepted and celebrated exactly as they are. Here, children, teens, and adults with Down syndrome are empowered to develop their skills, gain confidence, and strive for their personal best. Every program we offer is purposeful, designed to enhance each participant’s strengths so that the world sees their abilities first. When our community witnesses the incredible potential of individuals with Down syndrome, perceptions shift. We are committed to fostering this change, but we need your help.

How You Can Be Part of Generation G

We invite you to take action and be part of the movement for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. There are so many ways to make an impact, and every effort, big or small, contributes to a more inclusive world.

1. Create a Generation G Club at Your School
Students of all ages can lead the way in spreading awareness and advocating for inclusion. By starting a Generation G club, students can host awareness events, educate peers about Down syndrome, and promote kindness and acceptance in their schools. We can provide resources, ideas, and support to help bring this initiative to life!

2. Invite Us to Speak to Your Class
Education is the key to understanding. Schools and teachers can invite GiGi’s Playhouse to speak to classrooms about Down syndrome, inclusion, and the importance of celebrating differences. These discussions help build empathy and awareness, shaping a new generation of advocates who will champion inclusion in their communities.

3. Encourage Businesses to Give Back
Local businesses have the power to make a meaningful impact. Whether it’s through financial support, sponsorships, employee volunteer days, or creating employment opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, businesses can play a crucial role in fostering inclusion. We are always eager to collaborate with businesses that share our vision of an inclusive world.

4. Volunteer as a Family
Volunteering together strengthens families while making a difference in the lives of others. Whether helping with our free programs, supporting special events, or offering a helping hand at the Playhouse, families can create lasting memories while contributing to a movement that changes lives.

Inclusion Takes a Collective Effort

Change doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens when we all commit to doing our part. By standing together, advocating, and taking action, we can ensure that every individual is given the opportunity to thrive.

At GiGi’s Playhouse, we promise to always be a safe, happy, inspiring, and uplifting place where everyone is celebrated. But beyond our walls, the work continues. We need you—our families, our friends, our supporters—to help us carry this mission forward. Let’s make kindness the standard, inclusion the expectation, and love the guiding principle of everything we do.

Join us in the Generation G movement today. Together, we can create a world that sees the value in every person.
