Fall Programming- Take a Look!

GiGi’s Playhouse Madison is gearing up for our Fall 2025 Session – full of FREE Program offerings for ALL ages. Find details on each of our programs and links to sign up.

ALL Group Programs and Tutoring start the week of September 15 and end the week of December 1. Speech Therapy will run from September 23 – December 2. As always, all of our Programs will run the same time and day each week. Check out our weekly Group Program offerings organized by age-group and our special events below!  

Destination Discovery: Dynamic Duals this program supports the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play and peer to peer interaction in a casual, fun and sensory friendly setting. This program also brings families together to share experiences and build relationships. Each class will have a theme, with 2-3 activity options to participate in.

  • All Ages + siblings are welcome to attend
  • There will be a limit of 10 participants to ensure a sensory friendly environment
    • This program is perfect for participants that may need a more quiet environment while still having the opportunity to learn and grow alongside their peers.
  • Parents and caregivers can choose to interact in our Family room or in the back room with other families to foster connection and share experiences.
  • Dates: September 27th, October 18th, November 22nd.
  • Themes: Falling For Fun, Boo Bash and Friendsgiving
  • Language, Music, n’ Our Peeps (LMNOP): is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents/caregivers and young children through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication while using music, sensory and social-based activities.
    • recommended for ages birth – 4 years old
    • this program runs weekly, Fridays from 9:00-11:00am
    • first class is September 16
    • last class is December 2
    • NO class on November 7 or November 28
  • GiGiFIT Kids + GiGi’s Kitchen Kids: this 2-in-1 Program combines elements from our GiGiFIT and GiGi’s Kitchen programs. GiGiFIT focuses on increasing strength, endurance, balance, coordination and more – in a fun and casual setting with friends. GiGi’s Kitchen allows participants exposure to basic cooking and kitchen safety skills by working through a weekly recipe and food-themed activity.SOYA introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing
    • recommended for ages 5 – 12 years old
    • this program runs weekly, Saturdays from 10:00-11:30am
    • first class is September 20
    • last class is December 6 
    • NO class on November 4 or November 25
  • TeenTastic + GiGi’s Kitchen Teen + Art Explosion: this 3-in-1 Program is a fun purposeful & social gathering for Teens with Down syndrome and their peers. This program supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. Each class will follow a similar structure of activities: Group Welcome/Circle, Icebreaker Group Question, Activity #1 (typically a social/group activity), Activity #2 (craft or fine motor), Activity #3 (cooking/kitchen activity) and a Closing/Group Circle.
    • recommended for ages 13-18 years old   
    • this program runs weekly, Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00pm
    • first class is September 16
    • last class is December 2
    • NO class on November 4 or November 25
  • Fantastic Friends + GiGi’s Kitchen Adult: a fun purposeful & social gathering for adults with Down syndrome, their peers and the community. This program supports the development of social skills and language through peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting. Participants will have the option of which activity or activities they participate in each week. Activities include: social skill building, arts & crafts, board games, sport/fitness games, and cooking.
    • recommended for adults ages 18+
    • this program runs weekly, Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm
    • first class = September 18
    • last class = December 4
    • NO class on November 6 or November 27
  • GiGi’s Achievers: empowers adults with Down syndrome with purposeful activities to ensure continued learning and fulfillment of life. This program teaches and promotes communication, self-awareness, independence, health and wellness through hands-on collaborative activities.
    • recommended for adults ages 18+
    • this program runs weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-10:00am
    • first class = September 17
    • last class = December 3
    • NO class on November 4 or November 25
  • GiGiFIT Adult: focuses on building social skills with friends by participating in team-based activities, games and other social activities. Skill development includes understanding compromise, turn-taking, problem-solving, sportsmanship and more!
    • recommended for adults ages 18+
    • this program will run weekly on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00pm 
    • first class is September 17
    • last class is December 3
    • NO class on November 5 or November 26
