Happy 3rd Birthday GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster!

Three years ago, GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster opened its doors to the Down syndrome community and their families. What started off as a small Playhouse with only 4 programs, is now a full Playhouse with 12 programs, many incredible participants, wonderful volunteers and plenty of love.

This year, GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster is so proud to celebrate its third birthday! And no birthday is complete without a party. Thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Playhouse, participants came together on January 11, 2023 to enjoy cake, play and karaoke. Over 80 people attended the event to celebrate this milestone as well as the mission of GiGi’s Playhouse, to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all.

This event was a huge success and the participants had a blast! “I had so much fun at GiGi’s birthday party!” exclaimed Caitlin, one of GiGi’s Playhouse young adult participants. “The food was so delicious, we had the delicious cake. Go GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster!”

We are so thankful for the support of the Lancaster community, participants, and their families in making the Playhouse a safe and fun environment for all. As we continue to look ahead at the next three years, we hope to bring more programming, more support and a lot more fun. Thank you to everyone who celebrated our third birthday with us!

What a fun birthday party group!
