Thank You to Molly and Tom

“Molly and Tom are so kind, faithful, and loyal to our LMNOP class,” says Terrell, our GiGi’s Professional Intern and we couldn’t agree more! Molly and Tom have been our lead volunteers for LMNOP for six years and have made a huge impact on GiGi’s Playhouse as a whole. Through their creative imaginations, fostering of parent connections, and passion for our participants, they have made our LMNOP program blossom over the years. Our LMNOP, Language Music n’ Our Peeps, program is centered around children zero-three and their parents.

In the past, Molly and Tom both put in together over 40 hours each week towards this program and never missed a beat when our programs were pulled to virtual, all while managing their own kids, grandkids, and more. With that being said, they are taking some well-deserved time off from being our lead volunteers. We couldn’t be more thankful for all the work they have put in as a whole.

Molly is a mother of three and all of her kids joined us at LMNOP, making them our youngest volunteers! She additionally serves as GiGi’s New Family Engagement Coordinator. A parent said, “My favorite thing about Ms. Molly is her energy and love for dancing.” You can feel her positive energy as soon as she enters the playhouse and its true, she makes everyone want to dance! If you ever have any questions or need a quick dance party pick-me-up, Molly is your gal!

Tom spent his time creating the awesome crafts for LMNOP. He would woodwork and build things for our crafts! Some of these include bug boxes and musical instruments. Tom often brought his grandkids to LMNOP, making this a more purposeful program for him as he spent time creating to help his own granddaughter. “Our favorite thing about Mr. Tom is how good he is at reading stories to us and making cool woodwork projects,” said the class.

Many of our parents want to highlight how inclusive, playful, and helpful they are…and the positive energies both Molly and Tom have. GiGi’s Playhouse Indianapolis loves Molly and Tom and wish them well as they take on their next adventures. They both are not done serving in our playhouse, so keep your eye out for them around!
