GiGi’s Playhouse Indianapolis, Down Syndrome Achievement Center is a place to meet new friends in a safe environment, as well as to provide the opportunity for individuals with Down syndrome and their families to grow, develop and network. Here at GiGi’s Playhouse, we desire to become a place of sanctuary, belonging, and love.  GiGi’s is a place where new parents can see the potential that their child can achieve, and all individuals with Down syndrome can reach new heights.

GiGi’s Playhouse serves individuals of all ages, from infancy through adulthood.  All programming is free of charge to all of our families!  We offer educational programs, social skills development programs, and supplemental programs based on physical and occupational therapy methods aimed at developing fine and gross motor skills.  The programs we offer implement research-based methods, based on how individuals with Down syndrome learn best.  We strive to facilitate each individual to reach their personal best of all, to achieve new feats continually. It is our goal to boost not only skills and confidence, but also acceptance and the ability to CELEBRATE!

It is our hope that GiGi’s Playhouse Indianapolis, Down Syndrome Achievement center will become an integral part of the community and will provide as much education to the community as it does to the participants and their families.  GiGi’s is a place of sharing and learning; a place where what can be, becomes what is. No limits, just opportunities to dream bigger and be greater!

With over 58+ brick-and-mortar locations across the United States and Mexico and 200 inquiries to start new locations all over the world, GiGi’s Playhouse is the ONLY network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers. Every day, we provide FREE, life-changing therapeutic, educational, and career training programs for 30,000+ individuals of all ages.

Down syndrome is the largest chromosomal disability in our country and yet, it is the least funded. From a prenatal diagnosis to career skills, we make a lifetime commitment to remain by their side. Families are empowered with all the tools their child needs to succeed!

Through free programs and through our Generation G Campaign for global acceptance, we EMPOWER families by maximizing opportunities for daily achievement and lasting acceptance. To ensure lasting acceptance, we must show the world what individuals with Down syndrome are truly capable of achieving as students, co-workers, volunteers, friends, and valued members of their communities. Our program outcomes help advance this vital social impact goal.

GiGi's Playhouse is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and is solely funded by donations.
