As parents of children with Down syndrome, the connections we make in the Down syndrome community are priceless. We hope you have a network of other parents with whom you’ve connected.

In central Indiana, both GiGi’s Indy and Down Syndrome Indiana can serve as valuable resources. NDSS provides a list of local affiliates here.

Facebook groups can be a great means of connection for a number of groups and topics within the Down syndrome community. The International Down Syndrome Coalition lists a large number of these groups for online support, ranging from siblings to educators to adoptive families. Click here for the complete list of IDSC online groups. (And check out their drop down menu under “resources” for medical and educational groups and more.)
