Henry is an enthusiastic, positive, thoughtful, and kind person. He has great curiosity and really enjoys people. Henry first got involved with GiGi’s Playhouse Twin Cities programming four years ago, in February 2017. From the moment he first got involved, he has been very active in GiGi’s programming! He was part of our in-person: Kids Club, Teen Tastic, Social Skills/Self Advocacy for Teens, Drama Troupe, and GiGi’s Kitchen Teens. & now since we have been going virtual – Henry has been involved with both local and national programs: Teen Tastic, Dance, Music, GiGiFIT Teens, GiGi’s Kitchen Teens, and Drama Troupe.
Here is the beautiful feedback that Henry’s mom, Lynda, provided us about our GiGi’s programming. On May 27th, 2020, Lynda wrote us following Twin Cities Virtual Teen Tastic, “Henry really enjoyed the program earlier this evening. It is funny, he is at an age where he does not like me to observe in any way. But after, he talked about how much fun he had, and I could just hear it in his voice. Thank you and the so many others who are working hard to keep our kids engaged and socially connected! It means more than you’ll ever know during these times.” & then on January 13th, 2021, Lynda wrote us following GiGi’s Kitchen Kids and Teens, “Andrew (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist leader) hosted a fun class tonight! Henry was very proud to serve his family the dinner he made.”
We are honored to have Henry and his wonderful family, parents Lynda and Chuck, and sibling Emma, be part of our GiGi’s Playhouse Twin Cities community. Thank you for taking full advantage of all the programming opportunities available through GiGi’s over the past four years. We look forward to continuing to see your family in the future.
