Participant Best of All: Jennifer Boskey

Jennifer participates in many of GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa programs such as GiGiFIT Adult, GiGi’s Kitchen Adult, Yoga, and Fantastic Friends. She shares her enjoyment and sense of community that GiGi’s Playhouse Purposeful Programs offers to all participants. For someone like Jennifer, who has a wide array of interests and hobbies including art, music, and collecting things, these programs allow her to not only learn new skills, but to also make new friends and meet other young adults with Down syndrome.

If you get a chance to talk to Jennifer, she has an incredible story about pushing her own limits at summer camp on a zipline tower. Jennifer challenges herself to conquer many fears and overcome obstacles, both big and small, every week in our adult programs at GiGi’s Playhouse. It’s noticeable how much she learns by teaching, as she is a consistently offering a helping hand in GiGi’s Playhouse programs.

One of Jennifer’s passions is to help others, whether that is at GiGi’s, home, or the office she works at. During any program she is part of, you will experience Jennifer’s very generous spirit, as she will be the first one to tell you that it brings her joy to give things to others and see their happiness when pushing past their own limits.
