One-on-One Literacy Tutoring Program
GiGi's Playhouse offers a free One-on-One Literacy Tutoring Program for individuals with Down syndrome, pairing students with trained volunteer tutors to build reading skills, boost confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning. Sessions are customized to each student's interests and abilities, and family members are actively involved - making it a great opportunity for learners of any age to grow.
One-on-One Math Tutoring Program
GiGi's Playhouse offers a free One-on-One Math Tutoring Program for individuals with Down syndrome, using multisensory teaching methods to build skills ranging from basic number recognition to fractions and algebra - all at the student's own pace. Family members attend each session and leave with hands-on activities to continue learning at home, helping to grow independence and confidence in school, the community, and the workplace.
One-on-One Occupational Therapy
Program
GiGi's One-on-One Occupational Therapy program supports individuals with Down syndrome in building key skills — such as fine and gross motor development, emotional regulation, daily living, and social interaction — in a personalized, encouraging environment. The program fosters greater confidence and independence so participants can more fully engage in everyday activities at home, school, and in the community.
The Amina Grace Speech and Language Program
The Amina Grace Speech and Language Program at GiGi's Playhouse offers free, one-on-one speech and language sessions for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, focusing on improving speech clarity, word order, and overall comprehension. The program aims to build self-confidence, social readiness, and greater independence through positive, personalized therapeutic approaches that support quality of life.
