Going Virtual

As you can imagine, our gala committee and board of managers have been faced with a very difficult decision. Due to COVID-19 and the recent restrictions for gatherings, we were faced with cancelling and/or rescheduling our upcoming gala. We then decided to think outside of the box. The gala will go on…. same day, same time, only now online!

We will hold the 2020 “i have a Voice” Gala virtually!

The tagline for this year’s event is “A Voice for All Seasons.”
When we chose that, we had no idea we would be entering a season and time of pandemic and crisis. We hope that you will join us for the first (and hopefully last) virtual gala! Same time, same date, different format although it will be more alike than different which is a saying we hear and say often!

While the look of our 2020 Gala has changed, the purpose has not! We are coming together to celebrate the achievements of local individuals with Down syndrome and the volunteers that make the programs possible! Please be as generous as you can and help us raise funds for all of the GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities participants and purposeful programs! As a cherished and supportive member of our community, you are a blessing to all of us and we are truly thankful for you and your support.

We hope to “see” you online on April 25, 2020!
Additional announcements and details coming soon!

If you’ve already purchased your ticket(s), we encourage you to please consider that fee a 100% tax-deductible donation!
There will be a special gift AND 3 FREE raffle tickets given to everyone that donates their ticket fee! That’s 3 chances to win cold hard cash!

You can, however, request a refund by sending an email to eventsquadcities@gigisplayhouse.org.

If you were planning to attend but hadn’t bought your tickets yet, we hope that you will consider purchasing a virtual ticket or give your #bestofall gift possible! We know that this is a difficult time for many and appreciate all of your help even if it means simply sharing information about the event with your friends and family.

Please visit our social media sites for more information and share with your friends and followers.

Thank you all for your support during this difficult time!
