Thank you for your support during the GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities 2020 “i have a Voice” Virtual Gala. While the event was not what we had originally planned or envisioned, it was an unusual and fun way to get connected during these uncertain times. We appreciate you being part of it! Whether you tuned in during the streamed event online, participated in the auction, made a donation or purchased raffle tickets, your participation is an amazing gesture of acceptance and generosity to help children and adults with Down syndrome achieve their Best of All.
Even during these times of sheltering in place and suspension of in person programs, we continue to provide virtual programming because individuals with Down syndrome “have” Down syndrome every day of their lives. They do not get breaks or days off, and inaccurate perceptions of a Down syndrome diagnosis continue. We will not let COVID 19 disrupt our mission or the commitment to our families and the community! Thanks to your support and belief, GiGi’s Playhouse can continue changing the way the world views Down syndrome, empowering participants, and families, and sending the message of acceptance for all. You are helping us impact more children and adults not only here in the Quad Cities but around the world, and we are forever grateful for your commitment.
Mark your calendars for March 27, 2021 for next year’s “i have a Voice” Gala!
