Event Overview
On June 7,2025, GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities will host the 13th Annual Superhero 5K Run and the 20th Annual Family Walk and Kids’ Dash as part of the national GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge. We will join all GiGi’s locations to spread acceptance for ALL around the globe. You can choose to participate in-person or virtually!
Designed for the entire family, this event has something for people of all ages and abilities. This event is one you don’t want to miss!

$25 Adults | $35 on or after May 1st
$10 Children (under 13) | $15 on or after May 1st
$10 Individuals with Down syndrome
Children 2 & Under Free (must register to participate in Kids Dash)
Virtual Attendees Adult $25 Child $10 (Perfect for those who just want a shirt!)
Online registration closes at noon on June 5th. Register by May 15th to guarantee you will receive an event T-shirt!
Shirt/Packet Pick-Up
Shirt/Packet Pick-Up will take place at GiGi’s Playhouse Thursday 6/5 and Friday 6/6 prior to the event or during the event at the park. Register and pick up early to ensure you receive a shirt.
Shirts are not guaranteed for those who register after May 15th! However, a limited supply of overstock shirts will be available first-come, first serve during packet pick-up.
Fundraising Teams
Teams
Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to join you by setting up a fundraising team.
- Raise $321 by May 1st to receive a personalized yard sign
- Raise $500 by June 1st and the team captain will receive a cheer kit to share with the team (by May15th and the team will also be listed on event T-shirts)
- Raise $1321+ and your loved one with Down syndrome will be featured in our annual calendar
- Plus, the top 3 teams will receive special recognition from the stage, windows or canvases at the Playhouse, and additional prizes!
Don’t want to set up a team? That’s ok. There’s plenty of teams you can join, or you can register to participate without joining a team.
5K Runners
First place runner receives a superhero trophy while the top 3 in each age category receives a medal.
Superheroes
We chose 4 of our favorite superheroes to receive special goodie bags and recognition from the stage. Wear your favorite costume!
Kids Dash Participants
All participants of the kids’ dash receive a special medal!
