#BestofAll Speech Moments

#BestofAll

With the end of our Spring session for the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program, we wanted to take some time to look back at the amazing #BestofAll moments that happened throughout the last 3 sessions of this program. We were able to run the last 3 sessions due to funding from the Northwestern Dance Marathon. We could not have done this without them and we truly are #StrongerTogether

Maricela can identify 4 different emotions (happy, sad, mad and scared).

Amelia can choose between 2 different items and signed “eat more” at dinner.

Landon is using 3-word phrases to tell us what he sees.

Luke is listening to stories and answering questions about them.

Mila can sequence a story with first, then and last and can describe items using more words.

Vada is speaking more and using words endings.

Zoey is using more words to express herself.

Lincoln is waving to his friends, is starting to use more sounds and has a new love for Mr. Potato Head!

Abby can describe items using 3-4 words and give 3 or more attributes.

Sean is using word endings when practicing his word cards.

Autumn is using s-blends and the /f/ sound at the beginning of words.

Korryn practiced her working memory skills by remembering patterns.

She even has a better working memory than Miss Jenn on Saturday morning!

Leah is getting better at following directions and has been using “owe” when she gets hurt.

Everlee is using more sign to express herself.

Auden is using 5-6-word sentences while playing a game that practices her /f/ sounds.

Levi is sorting food categories to practice his GiGi Prep skills.

All of our friends did such and amazing job! We are looking forward to many more sessions of the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program here at GiGI’s Playhouse Quad Cities.
