National Volunteers Week

This week is National Volunteers Week and boy do we have a lot of outstanding volunteers that we need to recognize!

All of you….yes YOU!

If you have ever raised your hand to help at the Playhouse or at an event the Playhouse is sponsoring, we’re talking to YOU!

Without YOU, we would not be able to help so many individuals achieve their #bestofall, reach as far into the community as we do and/or have successful fundraisers. YOU are the key to keeping the Playhouse and our programs going. We can’t thank you enough nor can we publicly thank each of you. We would never get anything else done. But please know that we appreciate YOU and all you do!

They say it takes a village to raise a child, in our case it takes volunteers to run a Playhouse.

This week on our social media sites we will be sharing information about the volunteers that received awards at the gala for their volunteer efforts throughout the 2016 year. We will also share a few volunteer facts related to the Playhouse. Be sure to stop by our Facebook page to see more. We will share some on twitter and Instagram too for those of you not on Facebook.

You can always read more about some of our volunteers here on the blog too. We post volunteer spotlights monthly highlighting individual volunteers. Not a volunteer yet? What are you waiting for? Find out more about volunteering by clicking here.
