Participant Best of All

Matthew participates in as many programs as possible and his family is committed to making the hour-long drive to the Quad Cities! Matthew recently participated in one-on-one speech, literacy tutoring, adult group speech, and the Achievers program. He is often here for multiple programs on the same day to make the drive worth it. In between programs, Matthew can be counted on to assist with setting up and preparing for the following programs.

Volunteer Spotlight

Mom and daughter duo Jessica & Jillian make a great team! They’ve helped with Dance – Kids (including at the Gala), LMNOP and Music Makers Kids, GiGiFIT Teen, and the Holiday party. They work well together and can be relied upon.  They will be helping with Art Explosion for kids in January too.

Playhouse Inspiration

We held our first-ever all-ages holiday party and despite the weather, it was a huge success! There were close to 100 people in attendance! The GiGi’s Rock Band kicked off the night by performing 3 Christmas songs, we enjoyed yummy food from Noodles & Co and had a special visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus. It was a night of friendship, family, and fun. Watching families chat, connect, and dance was the #bestofall for our staff and volunteers.
