Our Most Super Dash Yet: 4th Annual Dash for Down Syndrome Breaks Records!

Super Hero Dash Most Successful To Date!

Over 400 people gathered in their capes and costumes to make our 4th Annual Dash for Down Syndrome the most successful yet! With a fun Super Hero theme, the energy was sky-high as families, friends, and supporters came together to celebrate acceptance, inclusion, and the incredible individuals who make the Down syndrome community so special.

We are thrilled to share that this year’s Dash raised an astounding $63,000, thanks to the dedication of our 34 fundraising teams, their generous donors, and our wonderful sponsors and community partners. This is our highest total to date, and every dollar goes directly toward supporting free, purposeful programs for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages.

The day kicked off with excitement as 40 people registered on-site, joining the already huge crowd for a morning full of fun. With the help of Madison Events, the run/walk portion of the day ran smoothly and safely, and our walkers and runners gave it their all in true Super Hero fashion.

The fun didn’t stop there. Families enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including face painting, a Super Hero cape decorating project led by our friends at Arts for All, and lively tunes provided by DJ Blackstreet Boy.

Our food truck lineup was a major hit! A huge thank you to Tom’s Coffee, Kona Ice, Donut NV, and Papa John’s Pizza for keeping everyone fueled and happy throughout the event.

We’re incredibly grateful to the volunteers who helped with set-up, clean-up, and keeping things running smoothly from start to finish.
