Meet Kate Stingl, new program leader for Saturday Fantastic Friends

Meet Kathryn Stingl, our new program leader for Saturday Fantastic Friends.

Kate Stingl graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a licensed professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor. She has been working with individuals with varying abilities since high school and is thrilled to be a part of GiGi’s volunteer team to empower individuals and families to achieve their goals and live their best lives! She spent the past three years in Chicago providing community support and mental health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. She also has experience as an inclusion specialist, job coach, Special Olympics Coach, and camp counselor, and enjoys being creative in her therapeutic approaches with individuals. She is very excited to be back in the Madison area and be part of such a supportive network for families and participants, and looks forward to getting to know the GiGi’s community and serving as a resource!

Welcome on board!
