GiGi’s/MADSS Q & A event on the 19th of February 3 to 5pm

The Madison Area Down Syndrome Society (MADSS) and GiGi’s Playhouse of Madison are two separate non-profit organizations that exist to provide greater opportunities for people with Down syndrome. As a result, the Greater Madison Area is unique to families that have children with Down syndrome because there are many opportunities and methods for both families and individuals with Down syndrome to be supported, connected, and have access to resources throughout Dane County and beyond.
Have you participated in MADSS activities in the past but have never been to GiGi’s Playhouse? Or perhaps you have attended a GiGi’s Playhouse event, but you may not know the goals and purpose of MADSS! It is our hope that this brief overview will both inform you of each organization’s main goals as well as encourage families to continue to and/or begin to meaningfully engage with both MADSS and GiGi’s Playhouse.

GiGi’s Playhouse and MADSS intend to work together, yet existing as separate organizations. Both organizations will promote and support each other’s activities but will work to avoid duplicate services. It is our hope, through our growing relationship, that GiGi’s Playhouse and MADSS will continue to build an amazing Down syndrome community for all of our families!
