Free One-on-One Math and Literacy Tutoring at GiGi’s Playhouse Madison

Did you know that at GiGi’s Playhouse Madison we offer FREE one-on-one literacy and math tutor programs? Those programs are especially designed for individuals with Down syndrome and are intended for individuals ages 4 and up.

Each individual learns to read and develop literacy skills at a different pace. The GiGi’s one-on-one Literacy Program builds a foundation in sight word recognition, vocabulary, comprehension and articulation adapted to fit the learning style of individuals with Down syndrome.

Building math skills for individuals with Down syndrome increases independence in their school, in the community, and in the workplace.  The aim of this program is to help promote a positive experience of learning mathematics with a sound foundation of basic number understanding.
