Best of all moment: “That was fun”

This morning a mother of a 22-year old young woman called me. Her daughter has been going to various social groups and support groups since the age of eight. This month she joined the adult program Fantastic Friends at GiGi’s Playhouse Madison.  Her mother said: “In those entire years I have never heard her come out of a class with a smile and say ‘That was fun!’. I was almost on tears. I feel like sending her to GiGi’s and especially this class is the best thing I have ever done for her. And to see all the eight participants come out of the classroom with a smile on their faces is heart-warming.” (Cindy, mother)
