Thank you to Bill Henry (Board President)!

We are so thankful to Bill Henry who is completing his role as President this month. Bill has served on the GiGi’s Playhouse Madison Board of Directors since June of 2017 and as Board President for the past two and half years.

Bill brought his years of leadership experience to GiGi’s Playhouse, and behind the scenes, has given generously his time, talents, and financial support to advance our mission and to serve our families.

During his tenure, Bill has played an integral role recruiting top notch, key volunteers, and board members by reaching out to his large network of business associates, acquaintances, and friends. He was essential in spearheading deals that greatly benefited our playhouse financially and has played an active role in fundraising to support our programs that are free to participants/families.

During 2020, while facing the challenges of the pandemic and staff/organizational change, Bill agreed to extend his President’s term, made sound decisions, and worked closely with the Board, volunteers, and staff to advance our mission and strengthen our organization.

We are happy to share that we will continue to benefit from Bill’s skills. He will remain on the board as Past President to help ensure a smooth transition.
