Best of All Wall

One of our new favorite parts of our Playhouse is our Best of All wall!  

Our Best of All wall is a place where we take time to highlight and celebrate Best of All moments of our participants of all ages! 

Best of All is a term we use as a noun around GiGi’s. It is continual, measurable, celebrated and it never ends. It is a daily challenge to do a little better than you did the day before and it’s always celebrated. It is never a competition and never completed. 

Since adding the Best of All wall in our newly renovated Playhouse when we had our Grand Re-Opening on April 27, 2024, we have encouraged volunteers to look for and choose a Best of All moment of a participant during each purposeful program. Then, they write the moment down on a tag and display them on the wall in our family room for other to see. 

This year, we celebrated so many Best of All moments!  

We would like to share some of them with you: 

Best of All moment: Oaklyn, one of our babies was observed to sit up independently for the whole welcome song at GiGiFIT Infant. 

Best of All moment: Grayson, one of our toddlers was able to walk independently into GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster for the first time to participate in Language Music ‘N Our Peeps  (LMNOP)! 

Best of All moment: Our preschoolers gathered around the table to participate in a group activity during a Thanksgiving-themed Leaps and Bounds program to imitate tapping on the table and singing a song from our Literacy tutoring program. Many of the preschoolers have grown up at the Playhouse since they were babies.  

Best of All moment: Emma, one of our kids participated in doing the most independent ball twists she has ever done at GiGiFIT Kid with a peer that was volunteering through LCBC Church’s Easy to See serve project.  

Best of All moment: Isabella, one of our kids wrote a letter to Santa at our annual Pancakes & Pajamas Christmas party. 

Best of All moment: Caitlin, one of our adults planned and invited a group of 11 family friends to GiGi’s Playhouse Lancaster, so that she could give them a tour of our new Playhouse. She did a great job giving them a tour and telling them about the programming she participates in at GiGi’s.  

Best of All moment: Ashley, one of our adults used her voice to sing into the microphone on stage in club G during Fantastic Friends. 

We are so proud of our participants and their Best of All moments. We look forward to continuing to observe, celebrate, and share more Best of All moments as our participants continue to participate in purposeful programming!
