Beazer Charity Foundation Lends a Hand

On Friday, September 30, we were bestowed multiple gifts from the Beazer Charity Foundation. With their fiscal year wrapping up, they were anxious to find a recipient for their grant.  Lucky for us, the secretary of the foundation, Michael Dunn, is a GiGi’s dad and immediately recommended our Playhouse.  They quickly jumped into action, not only securing a generous donation for GiGi’s Atlanta, but also put together a crew of volunteers to come and do whatever was needed for an afternoon.

Ten employees showed up including Michael to give their time to clean, organize, and label everything they could find!  They not only gave the grant funding, but boxes of items from our Wishlist, and pizza for lunch! We were blown away by their generosity and positivity! Michael spoke before they got to work and declared that this was just the beginning of their partnership with GiGi’s Playhouse. His coworkers got to meet his daughter Charlie and see for themselves how much GiGi’s means to their family. Michael told us that Charlie will not go to bed until she gets to watch videos of herself enjoying the programs at the Playhouse.  She wakes up each Friday excited to go to Bloom in Music!

We are always honored to learn of the impact of GiGi’s on our families and even more so when it spreads through a new community! We can’t wait to work alongside the Beazer Charity Foundation in the future!  Thank you all for spending the afternoon with us!
