We’re Expanding!
The GiGi’s Playhouse Twin Cities Board of Directors is excited to announce that we are expanding! We will be adding 4,000 square feet of Playhouse space by growing into the warehouse space on the other side of our back wall. The expansion will begin in the end of August and go through September. During this 60 day period, the Playhouse will nearly double in size adding a half court gym, two classrooms, a family restroom, and much needed storage space. Our ideas are big and we are thrilled that our expanded space will accommodate them. As always, every program at GiGi’s will continue to be free of charge for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
As a grassroots organization, we want to use our money as efficiently as possible. We want to save as much as we can with construction so more can go directly to our new programming in this new space. Do you or someone in your network have the following skills or contacts? If so, please contact us ASAP so we can connect with them to secure bids and/or seek
valuable counsel and collaboration.
