Happy (Belated) Birthday GiGi Gianni!

“All this because one little girl was born…”

Last week GiGi Gianni and her family celebrated her 16th birthday! Read her mom, our founder’s, blog about the impact GiGi has made on her mom, family and community in her short 16 years of life here

Here in the Twin Cities we were so excited to celebrate GiGi’s birthday! Without GiGi we wouldn’t have-

  • Served OVER 700 individuals with Down syndrome and their families since 2013
  • Been open to families in our community for over 10,790 hours
  • Had over 500 volunteers log over 30,000 volunteer hours
  • And 2,678 hours of one-on-one tutoring in math and literacy

And we’ve only been open for 5 and a half years! GiGi has no doubt changed the lives of THOUSANDS of individuals with Down syndrome and their families across the US and Mexico! We’re so happy you were born, GiGi!

Are you interested in helping us reach even more families this school year? Become a Playhouse volunteer! This fall we will need well over 100 volunteers to assist with our Theater Program, Young Athletes Program, One-on-one Tutoring Program and much more!
