Shining in the Spotlight
November’s Best of All
For November’s Best of All Moment, we are excited to highlight Jordan Moore and her amazing work in our Drama Troupe program! Jordan is now in her fourth year with Drama Troupe and has truly emerged as a leader.
Nancy Houseman, one of our Drama Troupe leads, said, “Jordan has become a leader and has stepped up this year. She has been helping the newer actors with lines and knowing where to be when on stage.” You can even see the other actors and actresses look to her if they’re unsure of what to do!
Jordan’s leadership shines through in many ways. Before the dress rehearsal on Tuesday, she took the time to wish her fellow actors and actresses good luck and encouraged them to “break a leg.” She also leads by example, staying focused and working hard during rehearsals. Whether she’s learning her lines or finding ways to fully embrace her character, Jordan’s dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
This year, Jordan has truly stepped into the spotlight, playing Mack in Teen Beach Movie. “She is really lighting it up. It’s been amazing to watch her progress into a professional actress,” added Aaron “Big Guy” Houseman, our other Drama Troupe lead.
We are so proud of the work Jordan has accomplished this year and can’t wait to see her continue to shine with the Drama Troupe program!
best of all (noun) \best of all\
is continual, measurable, celebrated and it never ends. It is a daily challenge to do a little better than you did the day before and it’s always celebrated. Possible manifestations: standing just one second longer, reading just one more word, learning just one new number, taking just one more step, never a competition, never completed.
