Meet our Programs – LMNOP

What is LMNOP? We’re glad you asked! LMNOP is our signature Language Music and Our Peeps Program. Designed for children ages newborn to 36 months, LMNOP is an interactive and engaging program designed to guide parents and young children, through learning basic sign language and other forms of communication using music and language-based activities.

The goals of the program are:

  • Introduce and practice the use of basic signs, gestures and pictures to support language development.
  • Increase language development, with focus on vocabulary development, following basic directions and social interaction with peers using music, stories and play.
  • Introduce transitions and circle time; key skills needed to prepare children for pre-school and beyond.

¿Qué es LMNOP? ¡Nos alegra que lo hayas preguntado! LMNOP Es un programa interactivo e interesante diseñado para guiar a los padres y niños pequeños a través de aprender lenguaje de señas básicas y otras formas de comunicación usando música y actividades basadas en lenguaje. Recomendado para edades de recién nacido hasta 36 meses. (L= lenguaje M= música N= and=y O= nuestros P=peeps=chiquitines)

  • Introducir y practicar el uso de señas básicas, gestos, pinturas y retratos para ayudar el desarrollo el lenguaje
  • Aumentar desarrollo de lenguaje, con énfasis en el desarrollo de lenguaje, siguiendo direcciones básicas y interacción social con compañeros usando música, cuentos y juegos
  • Introducir transiciones y tiempo en círculos; destrezas claves necesarias para preparar a los niños para el preescolar y más halla
