Participant Best of All: Sammy Cully

This month, we are proud to celebrate Sammy and the many ways she has reached her Best of All at GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa.

Sammy is a regular participant in several of GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa’s signature programs, including GiGi’s Kitchen Adult, GiGiFIT Adult, and Fantastic Friends. Her love of social connection and routine truly shines, especially in GiGi’s Kitchen and GiGiFIT. This is even more deserving of celebration as those closest to her are keenly aware that her strides have been made in the face of adversity and unexpected changes. Yet Sammy has learned to become more accepting of others, how to regulate her own emotions, and has been demonstrating noticeable signs that she’s able to better communicate her emotions to others when advocating for herself and the needs of others.

Sammy is known for happily helping program leads and assistants by handing out gym equipment, kitchen aprons, and name tags. She has even begun volunteering to write participants’ names, warmly welcoming both familiar friends and new faces. These meaningful routines support her continued growth in conversation, manners, and positive social exchanges, while also helping create a welcoming environment for everyone.

This dedication carries into Sammy’s personal life changes as well. She is excited to have recently started a new job working in the kitchen at a retirement home, continuing her career and sharing her warm, outgoing, and big-hearted personality with local senior citizens.

For all of these reasons, we are proud to celebrate Sammy and all her Best of All achievements!
