Join the Participant Outreach Committee!

What is Outreach?

Outreach connects the community with our Playhouse and it’s resources. Committee members spread the word about GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa and our purposeful programming by appearing at community events, performing social media and media outreach, and giving inspirational tours.

Members are adults with Down syndrome who serve as mentors to the local community, and attend Playhouse events and programming. Members also have the ability to plan their own events to encourage partnerships and a sense of community.

How can I become a member?

The Participant Outreach Committee meets on the last Wednesday of every month. Meetings take place at our Playhouse in the evenings.

Participants joining the committee should be 18+ and actively attend programming at the Playhouse.

Adults and parents in the community who would like to lend a hand are also welcome to join sessions.

Email Amanda Bucalo at abucalo@gigisplayhouse.org for more information.
