Meet Our Programs – Leaps & Bounds

Leaps & Bounds –Recommended for children ages 3-5 years old, this program will help promote social, emotional, large and small muscle group development. Children will participate in fun and engaging activities that require movement and interaction with their environment.

The goals of this program are:

  • Increase fine motor skills, including visual motor skills
  • Increase gross motor skills, with a focus on general strengthening, balance and navigating obstacles
  • Increase social skills, with a focus on eye contact, imaginary play and simple interactions with peers
  • Increase language development, with a focus on following directions and communication

 

Leaps & Bounds – Brincos y Saltos Este programa ayudará a promover desarrollo social, emocional y desarrollo de los músculos largos y pequeños. Los niños participarán en actividades divertidas e interesantes que requieren movimiento e interacción con el ambiente. Recomendado para niños de 3-5 años de edad.

  • Aumentar destrezas de motor finas, incluyendo destrezas motor visuales
  • Aumentar destrezas de motor gruesas, con énfasis en fortaleza general, balance y navegación de obstáculos
  • Aumentar destrezas sociales, con énfasis en contacto visual, juegos imaginarios e interacciones simple con los compañeros
  • Aumentar desarrollo de lenguaje, con énfasis en seguir direcciones y comunicación
