Welcome Chris Terrill, our new Playhouse Volunteer Coordinator

We love our volunteers and GiGi’s Playhouse Tampa!  And we love our new Volunteer Coordinator, Chris Terrill.   Our Volunteer Coordinator is a key member of our operational team at the Playhouse.

Chris Terrill originally started her college studies with the intention of becoming a math teacher working with special needs children. Midway through, she was drawn into the corporate world, completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Twenty years later, she has built a successful career in talent and organizational development working for organizations like The Ryland Group, ADP, and the Depository Trust, and Clearing Corporation (DTCC). She currently works with Infor, Inc., building product curricula for their employees, partners, and customers.

Chris never lost the desire to work with children and young adults and to give back to her community. Over the years, she has volunteered in a variety of roles: helping children with various developmental challenges improve their motor and social skills through guided play programs, acting as a buddy for those living with chronic and terminal health issues, walking and caring for dogs rescued after Hurricane Katrina, and serving as a goat nanny at a local goat farm here in Tampa.

Welcome Chris!  Chris may be reached at volunteertampa@gigisplayhouse.org.  For more information on our Volunteer program visit our website.
