GiGiFit Donut Run San Diego Featured on KUSI San Diego: We challenge you to MOVE for ACCEPTANCE

We are excited to share that GiGi’s Playhouse San Diego was recently invited to KUSI San Diego to discuss our upcoming GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge! Board President Kelci Wilner and long-time participant and GiGi’s ambassador Clark had the wonderful opportunity to join Kacey McKinnon on the morning news, where they highlighted our upcoming event and the positive impact it aims to achieve.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, we will be hosting the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge, featuring a 5K run, 1-mile walk, and Dash for Down syndrome. This event is part of a larger initiative involving 50+ GiGi’s Playhouse locations across the United States and Mexico, all working together to foster acceptance and inclusivity for individuals with Down syndrome.

Our GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of our community and a call to action for everyone to join in the movement towards greater acceptance. We are thrilled to invite program participants, their families, volunteers, and community supporters to take part in this meaningful event.

GiGi’s Playhouse San Diego is hosting this event, to challenge our community to join a physical and social movement for the acceptance of all individuals just as they are! We will be hosting our program participants, families, volunteers, and supporters of San Diego.
