Welcome Sarah!

We’re so excited to have added an additional Speech and Language Pathologist for the Summer 2020 Amina Grace Speech and Language Program. She will be seeing participants virtually and has hit the ground running! This addition has allowed us to match an additional 5 participants for the speech program. We asked Sarah to tell us a little bit about herself below. Please help us welcome her to GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities.

I am from the Rockford area and have worked in the schools, with the Early Intervention population, and for Easter Seals.  I moved to California in 2013 and had the opportunity to work in the schools there and for a private clinic.  Since I did not become famous, I decided to move  back to the Midwest in 2017. Mostly, I missed my family and friends.  I am a Midwesterner at heart!  While living in California, I had the opportunity to perform improv and have been able to continue that hobby since I moved back.  I am currently living in Gurnee with my two fur-babies (cats), King Arthur and Sir Percival.   I am very much looking forward to working with GiGi’s Playhouse this summer!

Thank you to the Amina Grace Memorial Fund for helping fund the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program here in the Quad Cities. Together we will make a difference in the lives of our participants.
