We are so excited to be planning 2020 that we just had to share some of the exciting new and/or renewed programs!

(New Curriculum) GiGi Prep (18 years and up)

All new partnership with St Ambrose University. This program will be held at the University and lead by OT instructors and students.

(New) GiGiFIT  – Pilot

(Infants, Toddlers, Kids, Teens and Adults)

We will be piloting varying ages throughout the year. Each age group will be a 12 week session based program. Stay tuned for details as this program rolls out! Program will be lead by a licensed Physical Therapist.

(New) Social Dance (13 and up)

This partnership with QC SoDa the local Social Dancing club will be leading a 9 week (10 sessions) of a dance chosen by the group of participants (ballroom, salsa, etc). The dance will then be performed on April 25th at the “i have a Voice” Gala.

(Returning) Music Therapy (ages TBD)

Last summer’s Music Therapy session was made possible by grant funding and were a BIG hit. We will be offering this again in Summer 2020.

(New Curriculum) Leaps & Bounds (ages 3-5)

This program will be held in the Summer only as a session based program focusing on school readiness skills.

(New days/times) Open Play (All Ages)

We will be offering Open Play on various weekdays throughout the year. Join our new leader/host for this program.

(New) Destination Discovery (All Ages)

This is a station based program that focuses on development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play.

(Returning monthly) 2 & Under

This program will once again be offered monthly for moms, dads and our youngest friends to establish and build those strong friendships and supports systems.

(New time and ages) LMNOP (Language, Music N’ Our Peeps) (birth – 36 months)

LMNOP is for ages birth to 36 months and will be held at 9:30 am the second Saturday of the month. This program is lead by a licensed Music Therapist.

(Returning) Friends, Fun and Fitness

This partnership with 0C3 Cross Fit will continue into 2020. Dates and time to be determined.

The following programs will continue to be offered on the similar schedule as they have in the past!

Teen Tastic (ages 13-17) – Every other Friday night 6-8 pm

Fantastic Friends (ages 18 and up) –  Every other Friday night 6-8 pm

Playhouse Pals (ages 5-8) – Fourth Saturday of the month at 9 am

Kids Club (ages 8-12) – Fourth Saturday of the month at 9 am

This is just a sneak peek into the coming year and we can’t wait to see what else the year has in store for us here at GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities. Stay tuned as we continue to add to the 2020 calendar.
