Digging in, getting messy, touching, feeling, smelling….that’s what sensory play is all about. Many people shy away from sensory play because it is messy. Yes, sensory play is messy but it is also valuable. Sensory play has many benefits just google it and see. There are many ways to encourage sensory play/activities yet contain the mess although sometimes the more messy the better!
