Meet Kylie

Please help us welcome Kylie to the Playhouse. If you’ve been to a Friday night or Saturday morning program recently there’s a good chance you’ve seen Kylie! Kylie is an intern from Augustana. She is helping out as a greeter at many of our programs in addition to other volunteer tasks. We asked Kylie to tell us a little bit about herself and this is what she had to say.

Hi, my name is Kylie Thomas and I am a volunteer intern here at Gigi’s Playhouse Quad Cities. Currently, I am a junior at Augustana College, double majoring in Psychology and Spanish. For the future, I hope to become a Child Psychologist, working with children and young adults with disabilities, mental illness, and trauma. At Augustana, I am involved in HerCampus, Title IX Student Board, Chi Alpha Pi Social, and an Executive Board Member of Alpha Phi Omega (national service fraternity). I am excited to get to know more people and gain more experience interning here!

Kylie will be with us until mid May for her internship but we hope that she will stay on as a volunteer after the intership comes to an end. Thank you, Kylie, for all your help this spring!
