Love Our Team – Kitty McSparin
Aside from showing our love and appreciation for the many people that make the magic happen here at GiGi’s, one reason we are doing the Love Our Team series is because we have a number of team members that many of our families and supporters have not met. Kitty McSparin is one of them!
Please meet, Kitty! She is our newest board member having just joined the board in the summer of 2022.
Kitty works for Mediacom Communications and heard about GiGi’s from United Way Quad Cities! (Yay, for United Way!)
When asked what she was looking forward to here at GiGi’s she had this to say:
“I’m hoping to make an impactful difference at the Playhouse through the Board and volunteer opportunities.”
She also said this:
“I feel very passionate about GiGi’s mission to bring resources and activities to families at no cost to them and want to make sure that they are accessible for many years to come! The inclusive feeling and caring nature of everyone involved in the playhouse is what makes the Quad Cities playhouse #BestofAll!”
Kitty would encourage others to get involved in GiGi’s. She said “It’s so fun to see the fun that the participants have interacting with each other and being involved.”
Kitty shared that she loves to go camping in the summer and do all things outdoors – walking, hiking, fishing, swimming, even reading out in the sunshine.
We appreciate Kitty being part of our GiGi’s team as we know it’s sometimes hard to be a parent, work, and still find time to volunteer. Thank you, Kitty!
