Don’t pack it up!

Not that World Down Syndrome Day has come and gone for another year, you’re probably packing up your fun, colorful, crazy socks for them to be pulled out again next year. As we were cleaning up all the WDSD items we had out here at GiGi’s for the celebration packets and events, we were thinking how great it is that so many people come forward the past few days to show their love and support for individuals with Down syndrome. Then we stopped and thought for a minute!

While celebrating and showing support on WDSD is wonderful and we thank everyone that made this year great, we hope you don’t pack that up too.

Don’t pack up your kindness, support, compassion, advocacy, and spreading awareness! Because… guess what….our friends don’t pack up their diagnosis!

It’s there every day, 365 days a year! They need YOU to continue showing your support, kindness, and compassion. We all need you to continue advocating and spreading awareness! Be part of #generationG by making a choice to be accepting, be generous, and be kind every day and encourage others to do the same.

Our friends deserve that. They work hard every day to break through barriers and achieve their #bestofall. With your help, we can continue to make that happen!
