Meet Ana!

We are excited to introduce you to our newest Intern here at GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities. Please meet Ana!

Ana is from Danville, IL but is currently a senior attending St. Ambrose in Davenport, IA. She is hoping to start the Speech and Language Pathology graduate program next fall and pursue a career as an SLP and someday work with kids with autism. She has two little brothers and loves to be around and work with kids! She is very involved in the community and works as an SLP-Assistant at Sweet Pea’s Therapy, and provides ABA tutoring to children with autism in and around Davenport. She found GiGi’s through a practicum course at St. Ambrose and is beyond excited to begin tutoring and helping with programs. Ana chose GiGi’s as her placement because she heard about all of the programs and tutoring that they provided and really wanted to gain knowledge about Down syndrome! She is very excited to meet all of her new GiGi’s friends and their families. In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with friends, volunteer and she loves to paint!

Ana will be with us all fall and will be tutoring in math and literacy as well as helping with fall programs and the “i have a Voice” Gala too!
