We came. We Danced. We Conquered!

Thank you for Dancing for Down Syndrome!!

For the second year, GiGi’s Playhouse – New York invited our families, friends, volunteers and the larger Down syndrome community in NYC to share stories of how Down syndrome has touched their lives.  These stories were then spread far and wide via social media, email campaigns, and other grassroots methods.  Our dream is to grow this awareness campaign every year until we have all of New York City buzzing with positivity about our vibrant community.  For many families, GiGi’s Playhouse is a lifeline, and an essential resource throughout their child’s life and into adulthood.

This campaign raised over 27,000 dollars and counting!  To celebrate the awareness and funds raised by Dancing for Down Syndrome, over 200 people came out to our dance party on May 16th.  This party had everything:
