Rosella Lofaro, Operations Manager
Rosella Lofaro comes to GiGi’s NYC with over 12 years of experience working in the non-profit social service sector. She earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University, her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Manhattan College, and enjoys making a difference in communities.
In her personal time, Rosella enjoys traveling, listening to music and spending quality time with her friends and family - especially her two young nieces.
Rosella joined the GiGi's Playhouse NYC team in August 2020.
Noelle Leczel, Programs Coordinator
Noelle Leczel received her B.A. in Urban Community Studies at Whittier College in 2017, followed by a 27-month Peace Corps service in Guatemala in the Youth and Development sector. Noelle moved to Brooklyn shortly before starting with GiGi's NYC to attend graduate school at Wagner NYU to earn a Master's in Urban Planning, with a specialization in International Urban Planning. Her background consists of working with youth of all ages, abilities, and diverse backgrounds. She is bilingual in Spanish/English. Noelle is enthusiastic about curriculum development and excited about being a part of the GiGi's NYC Community!
Noelle joined the GiGi's Playhouse NYC team in August 2021.

Jane Providenti, Board Co-President
Jane Providenti is a Director within the Global Finance Organization at Deutsche Bank. During her 25+ year career at DB, she has held a variety of positions within the Investment Banking and Corporate Finance Divisions, Internal Controls Team, Asset and Wealth Management Finance Division and most recently in Regional Finance for the Americas.
Jane earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics at William Smith College in Geneva, NY. She earned a MBA in Finance from New York University.
Jane lives with her children Troy and Allison in Manhattan. Her oldest daughter, Hannah, lives in Massachusetts. Troy has Down syndrome and is 18 years old. Jane has a history of involvement in organizations that support the Down syndrome community including the LuMind Foundation, NDSS, and the IDEAL School of Manhattan.
Jane joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2014, and is actively involved in many board committees and became Co-President of the Board in January 2021.
Yamira Siu, Board Co-President
Yamira Siu is an Executive Assistant to the Co-Head of Global Banking & Advisory at Société Générale (SG) with over 20+ years of experience and a Board Member of DiverseAbilities, SG's Employee Resource Group ("ERG").
She completed two years of studies at Pace University, NY and decided to pursue other opportunities.
She has volunteered for numerous organizations in the Harlem Community such as Figure Skating in Harlem ("FSH"), America Scores, and GiGi's Playhouse NYC since 2012.
She is a mother of four children and lives in Harlem, NY. Her son Malik Jabbaar is a member of GiGi's Playhouse NYC.
Yamira joined the Board of GiGi's Playhouse NYC in 2019, and is the Chair of the Outreach Committee, Chair of the Parent/Caregiver TableTalk and Co-Chair of Charla Familiar (TableTalk en Espanol) and became Co-President of the Board as of January 2021.
Joyce Gottbetter, Vice President, Member of Board of Directors
Joyce Gottbetter is with Microsoft and leads the sales and technical cloud teams that partner with their US Health and Life sciences customers. Joyce joined Microsoft in 2016 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as the District General Manager of the North Central District.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Joyce was Vice President of Sales at IBM, where she led a global sales team, and from 2010 to 2015, Joyce was in Shanghai, China, where she successfully built and led multi-cultural teams in the emerging markets. Joyce started her sales career in New York City.
Joyce is a graduate of New York University Stern School of Business with an MBA in Marketing and Finance and The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
Joyce and her husband, Brian, have a daughter, Meredith, and a son, Joshua, and enjoy traveling internationally. Joyce is committed to giving back to her community and is an active volunteer of New York Cares.
Joyce joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2020, and is the Chair of the Governance Committee.
Mary Haverhals, Treasurer, Member of Board of Directors
Mary is part of Marsh and McLennan’s Finance team supporting the Insurance Consulting Group and has been with the company since 1996. She has also had roles in Defined Benefits, Marketing, Sales, Learning and Operations.
Mary is a graduate of Drake University where she studied Actuarial Science and Finance, and she has a Masters in Mathematics from University of Illinois Chicago.
Mary lives in Mandeville, LA with her husband and 10 year old triplets, two dogs, a cat, a rabbit and a hamster.
Mary joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2019.
Ruth Erickson, Secretary, Member of Board of Directors
Ruth Erickson retired in January 2016 as a Managing Director in the Global Risk & Compliance Group of Marsh LLC. Ruth joined Marsh in 1978 and had several roles in Risk Consulting and Compliance. She worked in the Chicago, New York City, London and Boston offices.
She received her BA in Economics from Boston College and her MBA from the Loyola University Graduate School of Business, Chicago.
Since retiring Ruth has been volunteering at the Home for Little Wanderers, Mt. Auburn Hospital, the Cambridge Women’s Center and the Cambridge Public Schools. She also serves on the Board of the Cambridge Women’s Center.
She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband, Paul and their rescue dog, Kate.

Michael Brown, Member of Board of Directors
Michael works as a financial analyst at AIG as a part of their North America Retail Casualty Finance team. In his role, he supports forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the Excess Casualty product lines while advancing operational improvements across the Retail Casualty Finance teams.
He serves as Co-President for the New York disAbilities & Allies Employee Resource Group at AIG driving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts across the NYC and US offices.
He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University at University Park with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and an Undergraduate Minor in Political Science.

Margret Ditolla, Member of Board of Directors
Margret Ditolla is a project coordinator in the Insurer Consulting Group at Marsh. She currently is responsible for organizing, planning and managing special projects and events for the ICG team members as well as Marsh’s carrier clients.
Margret began her career at Marsh in 1984. She has worked in various areas of the firm including, Global Risk & Specialties, Global Sales & Strategy, International Human Resources, Global Risk Management & Industry Practices, Finance and was Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Americas. Additionally, she provided on-site support during external conferences from 2006 to 2015. She is a Licensed Property & Casualty Broker in the State of New York.
She is a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House, New York and has served on their golf committee for the Annual Marsh/RMHNY Golf Outing for the past 15 years.
Margret joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2017.
Carol Falcinelli, Member of Board of Directors
Carol Falcinelli is a Partner in the Compliance & Monitoring and Investigations practices of StoneTurn, a global advisory firm.
Prior to joining StoneTurn in 2016, Carol was with Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) for nine years. During this time, she led investigations across all MMC companies and held the positions in Marsh, LLC of Regional Compliance Officer for Latin America & the Caribbean, Chief Compliance Officer for the US & Canada, and Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for the International Division.
Carol began her career as an assistant district attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office where she served as Senior Trial Counsel in the Narcotics Bureau and Senior Investigative Counsel in the Frauds Bureau.
Carol joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2017.
David Kotler, Member of Board of Directors
David Kotler is a Partner with Dechert LLP, an international law firm. David advises and represents clients in a wide range of complex corporate and commercial litigation matters involving the financial markets, with a particular focus on investment advisers, hedge funds, and other financial services firms both within and outside the mutual fund industry. David also frequently counsels boards and senior management on a variety of litigation-related matters.
David earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Cornell (School of Industrial and Labor Relations) and a Juris Doctor degree from NYU.
David splits his time between Princeton, NJ and Spring Lake Heights, NJ. David has three children, Andrew, Emily and Jack.
David joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2020. David welcomes the opportunity to involve all of his children in volunteering at GiGi’s NYC.
Mathew Otte, Member of Board of Directors
Matthew Otte is a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel within the Global Banking and Markets division at BofA Securities, Inc. He has spent the past ten years in a variety of legal and compliance functions in the securities industry focusing on sales and trading of equities and derivatives.
Matthew earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management and MBA at Providence College in Rhode Island, where he was captain of the Men’s Soccer team. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA.
Matthew and his wife, Nicole, live in Chatham, NJ with their two children Paxton and Remy and their rescue dogs, Bella and Cooper. He enjoys playing soccer, surfing and exploring with his kids.

Frank Sawyer, Member of Board of Directors
Frank Sawyer is founder of TeleGraphicMedia, specializing in media production and communication design, at the creative intersection of improvement and business success for his roster of clients. Previously, Frank led a group of global consultants under the banner of PlanetSawyer. Prior to that, he worked for Universal Studios in California.
Frank earned his BFA from Stephen’s College in Columbia, MO as a scholarship actor at this women’s college.
Frank discovered GiGi’s NYC and started volunteering over nine years ago when his brother-in-law Peter moved to NYC. Peter has Down syndrome, and is a proud founding member of the Gratitude Art Committee. His artistic talent and overall ability to become his best self belonging to the greater community has developed in ways never thought possible when he was born 55 years ago. Thank you GiGi's NYC.
Frank joined the Board of GiGi’s NYC in 2015, has served four years as Board President and is now serving as board member on several GiGi's NYC committees, committed to being an advocate for those with Down syndrome and their families.
Amy Teter Romero, Member of Board of Directors
Amy Romero is the CMO of Kyndoo Media, a new tech company specializing in Artificial Intelligence to improve the predictions of Influencer marketing. Previously, Amy was the Global CMO of CreativeDrive, a global content production company. Prior to that, she worked for advertising agencies, brands and successful entrepreneurs.
Before taking her expertise to corporate agencies and brands, Amy embarked her career producing content and promos for entertainment and media brands, including HBO, Sony Pictures Television, HBO and MSNBC. She spent several years working with Jazz @ Lincoln Center. Touring with Wynton Marsalis and his Jazz Ensemble sparked her interests in music, the arts and live productions.
She received her BS in Marketing from Boston College and received her business analytics certification from The University of Pennsylvania. She is an Executive Member of She Runs It, Boston College’s Women’s Council, and member of Boston College NY Alumni Chapter. She has received recognition for her work, most recently from The Drum for ‘Best Product Launch, 2019’ and ‘Best Website Strategy, 2019’.
She lives in Upstate, NY with her husband, two children and their dog.
Amy joined the Board of GiGi’s Playhouse NYC in 2020, and she is the Chair of the Marketing Committee.
Michael Torres, Member of Board of Directors
Mike Torres is Vice President of Business Planning and Strategy in the Internal Audit Group at American Express. He manages a broad range of activities including project management, communications and talent initiatives to help ensure business objectives are achieved.
Last year, Mike served as Interim Vice President of Global Business Services Capabilities where he was responsible for collaborating with colleagues across the Servicing Network, Technology and Human Resources to improve the end-to-end colleague experience. In addition, he managed the technology roadmaps for intelligent automation and data strategy.
Prior to those roles, Mike had positions in both the Finance and Consulting teams at American Express. He completed his MBA in the Executive Program at NYU in 2019.
Mike has been involved in a number of local non-profits: Junior Achievement, City Harvest and Brooklyn Community Services. Mike is passionate about giving back and has been looking for ways to support those who struggle with developmental disabilities, hunger and homelessness.
Mike lives in Jersey City. He enjoys traveling, sports and trying new restaurants.
