Down Syndrome Awareness Day, What Does it Stand For?

On this day, March 21st, people with Down syndrome and those who live and work with them throughout the world organize and participate in activities and events to raise public awareness and create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome.

Join us by becoming a 3.21 Champion! Together we will change the world. Each donation supports our programs and outreach to bring awareness and acceptance to all.
March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. The 21st day of March (the 3rd month of the year) was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. Celebrate this year by joining our 3.21 Campaign. For only $21 per month for 3 years you will make a huge impact in the lives of so many in the Milwaukee area (360+ families). This year we have big plans for outreach, programs, and growth. Help us raise public awareness and create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome.
