GiGi's Playhouse Milwaukee is excited to announce our first ever Fashion Show! As part of the event, up to 20 models will have the chance to showcase Kohl's Department Stores adaptive clothing line and will get to keep their outfits! We are very excited to partner for this event with Journey21, an organization whose mission aligns closely with our own. Journey21 will host our Fashion Show in their beautiful new Enrichment Center in Oconomowoc.
Models:Thanks to the support of Kohl’s, we will feature 20 runway models with Down syndrome or other disabilities in our upcoming fashion show. Our goal is to assemble a diverse group representing various ages, sizes, genders, and skin colors. Factors such as confidence level, reliability, outgoing demeanor, and comfort in front of a camera will also be considered in choosing the runway models. If there is more interest than available runway spots, then we will do our best to create roles for non-runway models as greeters, ushers and general helpers at the event. Hair styling and makeup services may also be provided. Model registration is open until May 6, and a waitlist may be generated based on the number of applicants.

Ticket cost is $20. Free attendance for runway models only.

GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee is seeking event support, donations, in-kind gifts, and/or volunteers to manage the following.
- DJ/Music support
- Emcee
- Photographers
- Food trucks or food vendors
- Donations for food and/or beverages
- Local vendors to sell wearable items – vendor tables are reserved for people with disabilities. For those interested in this vendor opportunity, please APPLY HERE
