Best of All – Matthew

What do you do for fun? Matthew enjoys attending several of our free adult programs. These programs are structured to support adults with Down syndrome but are open to people with all disabilities. Matthew comes early and is ready to share and connect with other participants. This week Matthew demonstrated his Best of All while working on his balance and dexterity during the weekly GiGiFIT program at Balance Fitness in Glendale and had a blast with his friends while wearing a costume and playing Halloween Bingo online at Fantastic Friends. He also responded to questions about character development while attending Book Club, also held weekly online. Matthew’s positivity and openness to share with others is welcomed by program leaders and friends. Social connection is so valuable and in a time when we don’t see others as much as we would like these programs are proving to be very valuable. The purposeful progressions of all GiGi’s programs support learners and participants where they are at and propel them into strengthing their skills at all ages.

Join Matthew and his friends at any of the adult in-person and virtual programs at GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee and see what the fun is all about! https://gigisplayhouse.org/milwaukee/calendar/

All adults with disabilities are welcome to join in the programs at GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee.
