Dash Team Highlight: Marvelous Myron & his Magnificent Mates

Who inspired this team and what makes them EXTRA awesome? Myron has a contagious smile, non-stop curiosity, and thoughtfulness way behind his three years of life!

What is your favorite part of attending programs and events at GiGi’s Milwaukee? Our whole family always feels welcome at GiGi’s. Even if it is programming for Myron, his big sister, and us parents feel right at home tagging along to be part of the community GiGi’s has created.

What does acceptance mean to you and how do you want to encourage our community (and the world) to be more accepting? Acceptance starts with the realization that we are not the same BUT we are more similar than different. By celebrating those differences, we may better understand each other and why we do things the way we do.

What Programs would you like to see more of at GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee? Play days: open play at GiGi’s but also outside play days at local playgrounds to see familiar faces in different places in our community!

Tell us about what you would like to see at GiGi’s or have GiGi’s offer as a support to the community. Maybe a family game day, where it was a little more structured for you to meet other families with kiddos around the same ages.

Join Myron and his friends at the Dash for Down Syndrome on May 5th at Lake Park – Sign up today!
