Best of All: Caleb

Caleb joined the Playhouse to attend the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program this week and is already joining our other programming too! Caleb also attended Leaps and Bounds at Carroll University and had a blast playing with bubbles and dancing to different sing-along songs. He even tried new activities like making Play-Doh molds and bopping a balloon back and forth with others. It is great to see him jumping into our programming and trying new skills while meeting new friends. Activities like gazing at bubbles or tossing a ball increases visual tracking skills which are needed for early literacy skills in addition to learning rhyming and songs with a repetitive rhythm are also very important for cadence, predicting, and tone, all skills used while reading! What fun our friends have together as they develop academic skills without knowing it!
